Stork Visions® 2D baby ultrasounds can start as early as 18 weeks gestation and continue to term. We can usually determine gender at 18 weeks during a 2D sonogram.  Ultrasound has been in use for over 35 years and no harmful effects have ever been shown from responsible use.  Reputable and responsible 2D Ultrasound, 3D Ultrasound and 4D Ultrasound Imaging Centers limit scanning time to 20 minutes.   A 3D/4D ultrasound uses the same exact power levels as the traditional 2D ultrasound and the FDA sets the standard level that is safe to be used.

When mothers are allowed to see a realistic view into the womb, the pregnancy becomes more real and often causes mothers to take better care of themselves.  Fathers, extended family, and siblings enjoy the experience of viewing a 2D Ultrasound, 3D ultrasound, or 4D ultrasound session.

2D sonograms, 3D sonograms, and 4D sonograms are produced by listening to sound waves.  A 2D ultrasound visualization is a single plane interpretation of the reflected sound waves.  Stork Vision® requests that all expectant mothers that come in for a 2D ultrasound have a full bladder. The optimal time to come in for a 2D Ultrasound is 18 plus weeks.
